The 2025 Stonelifting Awards Info

These are the first ever Stonelifting Awards brought to you by Maximum Iron. The awards are to celebrate stonelifting, to recognise the people who make it great, and to shine a light onto some of stonelifting's lesser known who deserve recognition.

It's not just about awarding winners though. We will be giving certificates to people we believe have put in effort, gone above and beyond for stonelifting, done something special, or just deserve one.

There will be an Awards Show, in December, shown here; and on YouTube. The show will not just announce the winners, but take a look at stonelifters, stones and locations from all over the world. You don't want to miss it!

There will also be coverage of The Awards in Stones Magazine Issue 6. The magazine is of extremely high quality, and limited to 250 copies. Secure yours here.

How the awards will work

Nominations closed at midnight (UK time) on Sunday the 2nd of November 2025. All nominations are here.

Only the winner from each category will automatically be entered into the Awards final selection, and will receive a People's Choice Award Certificate. Judges will then decide another 2 (from the full list of nominations) to go through in the final selection. These 3 will then be judged to find the overall category winner.

All 3 in the final selection will receive an Award Certificate with gold foiled stamp (Provided by Maximum Iron). If the category was sponsored their certificate will be framed, with an Award Plaque. If any prize money was donated this will also be sent out to the winner.

You can sponsor an award here. You can add prize money to that award by sending a tip when completing the order. You can also donate to the total prize fund here. This will be spread to different awards, depending on how much is received. (If it's a smaller total it will go to the main awards, a larger total will go to all awards).

Please spread the word, and share this page. Thank you.
