Victoria Long Retires from Strongwoman

Victoria Long announced her retirement from strongwoman on her Instagram. She said "I definitely pictured the last contest of my strongwoman career going much differently…..but here we are." 

She injured herself at the 2024 Arnold Strongwoman Classic while competing in the Elephant Bar Deadlift Event. She had previously injured herself in the UK, in 2023 at the Kaos Classic, while deadlifting 700lbs.  

Victoria was a force to be reckoned with in strongwoman. She won the Arnold in 2022, and 2023. In Event 3, The Elephant Bar Deadlift, she pulled 295 kilograms (651 pounds) to set a World Record.She has also won The Shaw Classic Open in 2022, and America's Strongest Woman in 2021 & 2022. She will definitely be missed from the strongwoman scene.
