Return to The Emerald Isle

It has been one year since filming in Ireland took place, due to several problems out of our control. Hopefully everything is now back on track, and there won't be any more delays. The main purpose of this trip is to film the teaser trailer. It will also be a good chance to test all the new equipment, when there isn't much pressure, or time constraints.

This trip has meant to happen twice now, and almost wasn't happening again, so it will be good to return. Unfortunately filming with David Keohan and Martin Jancsics has been canceled, due to David getting injured, but it has been rearranged for next year. 

With some tweaks to the original idea it was still possible to film the teaser trailer. The one bit of luck we got was the weather. It stayed mostly dry, and there was still some sun. It's now almost time to return, and editing the trailer will begin. This will include composing the music. the plan is to build upon the music used in the teaser trailer, for the full trailer. 

This trip wasn't what was originally planned, but it did go well. All the new equipment worked well, and will definitely help with the rest of the production. The camera and monitor really improve workflow. The monitor is miles better than the old one, and the camera's internal NDs are amazing. The new clapperboard brought some professionalism, and it felt like we're really getting underway. The next trip to Ireland shouldn't be too far away, and we should be meeting up with some stonelifters.
